The Lounge>Inaugural weekend for AAF
11Chiefs 09:40 AM 02-07-2019
The first games of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) are this weekend. I haven't followed it and at this point I'm not that interested. However, a friend called me all excited. He said CBS will be carrying all the games... that seems interesting. I seen an NFL Network logo on the AAF website... that seems interesting.

What's your take? Is your DVR set? Why should I care?

Those rules are definitely interesting and in my opinion those changes alone will draw people in since large portions of NFL fans donít like a lot of what the see in officiating. This is finally a chance to ďsomethingĒ different with officiating, even if those differences donít turn out well. The only thing I donít like right out of the gate is the OT rules. It sounds like each team only gets the ball once and since it starts from the 10 yard line it could lead to a lot of ties, which I donít think people will like.

The Chiefs have an affiliation with San Antonio, apparently.

Trent Richardson is one of the biggest busts of all time.

He seemed like a sure thing coming out of college.
