DP was told an hour ago that the Big 10 and Pac 12 will cancel their football seasons tomorrow... The ACC and the Big 12 are on the fence.. And the SEC is trying to get teams to join them for a season.
Dan talked to a source that told him the Big Ten had an internal vote over the weekend and only Nebraska and Iowa voted to play this season. 12-2 vote to not play.

I wonder what the economic fall out from this will be too. Its one thing if fans couldnr be at the games but bars and restaurants which are already hurting and totally getting fucked by this. [Reply]

I believe Iowa is one of the most profitable in college football. Over 100mil.
Think of tv contracts, sponsorship.

Big 10 teams would lose roughly 78 million dollars with no season.
