1. world globes (small collection, because I'm trying to limit myself to one per decade for space purposes)
2. t-shirts from foreign countries, but only if I go to the country
3. refrigerator magnets from any place I travel
I'm starting a fledgling pen collection, too, but only have a few. Pens are cool. I keep threatening to start a salt and pepper shaker collection because they're cheap and there are a lot of fun and creative ones out there, but my wife is wary that they'll take up too much room. [Reply]
I lived in the United Kingdom for my first 11 years and never attended a soccer game. Can you believe it? I do wonder what my life would be like had I not moved to America.
At the age of 14, you would have been shot and killed aboard a London doubledecker bus while wearing a Manchester United cheerleading uniform as part of a hazing ritual for your middle school. Good thing you moved.
I used to collect concert T-shirts, old money and magazines.
I still have all the stuff but the only thing that I actively collect is Playboy. I have boxes full of concert shirts from the early 80's to mid 90's. [Reply]
Oh, and I just realized that I don't collect anything of real value. Got some Chiefs stuff (autographed football from the Super Bowl team, some autographs, etc.), but nothing I'd consider a "collection."
