I'm sure they're far better than what Red Lobster offers, but I love those languisto (sic) lobster mashed potatoes.

I had Red Lobster one time, never went back.

He was making them in bulk. When I make biscuits and gravy I don't use milk as a thinning against, it's all butter. I can use up to a full stick of butter most of the time.

Finely ground cracker crumbs

Finely minced onion
Basil and oregano mix

Bake at 375 for 45 minutes in a pan with a light coating of ev olive oil, they're great... I prefer half pork/half beef, but beef is what I have on hand

Red sauce is a jar (sue me), but I spruced it up with a few of moms last garden tomatoes that she had in the fridge, ev olive oil and 2 cups of merlot

The smells that come wafting out of the kitchen when these are cooking at the same time is really just... killer
Sounds good boss. If it were me I'd throw a half a teaspoon or so of crushed red pepper in the spaghetti sauce would fit nicely.

Damn it. I'm hungry now.

Thank ya, sir... and honest to God I forgot to mention a fat pinch of pepper flake in the meatballs, gotta have just a little heat

Something else I forgot to mention is going easy on the cracker crumbs, I want meatballs not meatloaf

Got a crockpot of chicken noodle soup doing it's thing.

I'm not much on soup typically, but this one is pretty killer. And the wife loves it, so we're all happy.

I was going to do a whole chicken in the crockpot but I ran out of room. Now it's roast chicken with red potatoes and red onion in the oven. Tomorrow will be the leftover chicken and egg noodles.

Sounds legit.

Roast chicken is a favorite in our house. I do the spatchcock ATK recipe with yukon gold potatoes roasted in olive oil and chicken fat. The chicken is fantastic, but those potatoes are da real MVP. I'm really not much of a potato fan in any fashion, but those things are ungodly good.

There really isnt a better bang for your food buck than a whole chicken, I can grab one at Aldis for $6 plus change and have several meals off it

Yep, I get a 4 lb. chicken for that price. Roast chicken for a couple of meals, save a breast for chicken salad. Works out great. If I was a little more ambitious I could definitely make a bomb-ass stock every time I bought one.

99 cents a pound at Hy-Vee today, can't beat the price. So has anyone made mashed potatoes from roasted ones? I was going to take the majority of them and mix with butter, milk, sour cream, cheese, garlic and mash. The wife likes mashed potatoes on the bottom of chicken and noodles.
