Thanks!

I hate that I'm betting on this, but there will be AT LEAST 125k USA deaths. And that is low. If you think Im full of shit and it will be less than that, lets bet on it at any amount of money that you want.

If there’s a positive result, you bang on the trash can twice and give the player the rigged thermometer.

Looking around today as I drive to my "essential" job, what is closed other than malls, bars and retail clothing?

Offices, conferences, sporting events, and concerts are all big issues.

Needless to say today was literally the worst for new deaths. However, new cases are looking to hold to the same or less than yesterday.

Missouri testing numbers only up to 48,803 today. The number of tests per day has dropped. Wonder if that's because there's not the need for as many, they are backed up, etc?

Sometimes you have to wonder if these people have any grasp on reality or not?

Fall semester is still a ways off so I don't think it's pertinent to be making any decisions on it at this point anyway.
So I’m not saying make a decision for an entire state or even an entire school district.

I’m saying they should do some tightly controlled studies.

Choose maybe 10 or 20 grade schools. Give individual teachers and individual parents 100% option to stay home/online or go back to the school.

Since it isn’t that many schools you could literally test every teacher and every kid every couple of weeks. Even if the number of tests are limited nationally I think you could swing it for a relatively small study.

If cases spike shut it down.

If results are mixed that seems like it would be really useful information to have for next fall.

Maybe it will be impossible to open grade schools without a vaccine. But how do you know if you don’t try some small experiments?
