I don’t know, for most of the CP world yes, but there’s a lot of fans who hated the Alex smith trade and are turned off right now. Patty does well this season and I think next years training camp will be very crazy.

Nothing about Mahomes' NFL career to this point indicates he can't get better and learn from mistakes. His growth at playing in a pro offense over the course of preseason + 16 weeks last year, is just one example.

Only KC expectations that matter (to me and for what should be many others) are that :

Pat makes 2018 a fun season.

Pat learns from mistakes and improves over time.


As long as he's healthy, he will make 2018 KC ball fun.

I don't feel like your "expectations" of the Chargers going 12-4 while the Chiefs finish last in the division because of Mahomes are realistic at all. So I don't need to be emotionally prepared for it- thanks though.
