Looks decent. It will be interesting to see how it plays.
All the other established characters in the MCU have A LOT more depth than they are going to be able to do with Spiderman. They introduced Guardians successfully, but not many people knew about them. There isn't a lot that hasn't been covered with Spiderman on film. I'm guessing it will be a harder sell than a lot of the other MCU films.
As far as me, Marvel has earned enough credibility that I'll watch whatever they put out until they burn me. [Reply]

I think Marvel took over creative input with the character and he's obviously part of the current MCU. But Sony gets to distribute instead of Disney [Reply]

Yeah. From what I understood. Sony was OK. Help us make a great movie! In turn he can be in your universe. You get creative control, but we get most of the movie.
Just wish fox would do it. Other than first class and deadpool, none of them were marvel level. [Reply]

Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, on the other hand...

Spider-Man has always been my favorite, but I try to be honest when evaluating things (not that you don't, but I'm laying out my theoretical bias). It's just a trailer, and they'll probably get better as we get closer to the release date, but this was pretty bad. If I was basing my decision just on the trailer, I wouldn't go see the movie.
