I am re-watching the Matrix. When it came out in 1999, there were some reviews that I didn't watch. I saw it a few years later, and because I had no clue, when I did watch it, it FLOORED me. Total surprise.

Similar to the 6th sense. Blew me away, again.

What other movies have done that?

Please no spoilers:-)

The Usual suspect is a great example. “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist”

I remember when I first saw Planet of the Apes I was pretty young and it freaked me the hell out.

I must admit it didn't do much for me. He was a crazy dude and killed people. Right at the end he was talking to his attorney who was calling him by a different name. Yet all his pals were still calling him Bateman.

Dunno, I didn't see any "holy crap" moment.

I was at work multi tasking and might have missed the ah crap moment.
He didn’t commit any murders. His name might not even be Patrick Bateman. It’s not really a twist, more of a theme.

Wild Things 1998

One of the most underrated endings ever.

hands down one of my favorite films of ALL TIME. The studio initially didn't want to keep that ending because they thought it was too effed up but Brad Pitt fought hard to get the original ending in tact.

I can’t remember much about that movie other than the girl on girl scene.
