Good job with the interior line bud. Keep spending all our resources on overpaid defensive players and draft picks who dont do shit

Completely whiffing on the 2018 draft and on Hitchens, Watkins, and Frank Clark is going to be hard for the Chiefs - for any organization for that matter - to overcome. Especially when our front office has no one who can intelligently evaluate defensive talent.

Watching the Rockies management screw up the Nolan Arenado window and getting a feeling of dread that I'll watch the Chiefs do the same thing with the greatest QB possibly in league history. :-)

Similar to firing Sutton but letting Andy hire a yes-man to replace him.

The most inexplicable and infuriating part of the whole thing is that we had not one, but TWO elite GM’s in our front office, and we ****ing let them both walk right before the most important couple years in the history of the franchise.

I don’t know if it was Clark or Andy or who was responsible for letting Ballard walk before (stupidly) firing Dorsey. But that whole sequence might go down as the single worst decision in franchise history.

We kicked two of the best talent evaluators in the league to the curb and got caught holding the bag on Brett Veach, who doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing. Just unbelievable and unforgivable honestly if you’re a fan.

That just can’t happen. Not now with Mahomes on the cheap.

The Ballard decision might end up going down as one of the worst ones Clark has ever made. And that's saying something.

You fire Veach, keep Andy, but put him in his place.

Some of you haven't figured out that Reid calls all the shots on personnel and Veach is just a "yes man". Veach ain't going anywhere.:-)

If Clark was gonna fire Dorsey, he should’ve at least been smart enough to do it before letting Ballard walk.

I’ll never figure that one out.

Yeah, I'm doubtful that will ever happen. Clark has only given Andy more power each season and Andy doesn't strike me as someone who is going to relinquish any control he has (he basically forced Philly to fire him).

Well, you gotta start somewhere. You're not firing Reid mid-season, and you're probably not firing regardless of what happens the rest of the year.

If you're Clark Hunt, and you fire Veach, it signals to Andy and Spags that you better figure this sh*t out or you may be next.

If Spags hasn't turned a corner by the end of the year (or sooner), you get rid of him. If that's a problem for Reid, that's his problem and he's next if he screws it up further or can't get this figured out next year.

Tough to put this on a guy in his mid-20s, but if Mahomes doesn't speak out it's inevitable that CHunt will end up keeping Andy 5-10 years too long. It's in his DNA.

In lieu of giving him $40 mill/yr, Hunt should just give Mahomes the franchise and take a cut of all the extra revenue it would generate.

This scenario ignores Reid's entire history with Philly and the Chiefs. He's not one who gives up control once he gets it.

To make any change like the one you're describing, Philly eventually had to fire Reid and burn it all down.

If Andy wants to repeat history, he can do it somewhere else.

The football gods are continuing to find new and interesting ways to torture us.

They didn't just give us what we wanted-- a home drafted franchise QB. They gave us the best damn franchise QB the league has seen in years.

And then they paired him up with the Chiefs version of Ryan fucking Grigson.

Amount of your post I agree with: 100%

Chances of even one little speck of it actually happening: 0%
