In the meantime, this gem from Andy Reid's press conference today:

Andy Reid was asked if he did anything fun or exotic this offseason: “I attacked a couple Chile rellenos.”

Hill and Hardman can both fly, they just look different doing it. Hill looks like a faster, yoked up Antonio Brown. Hardman reminds me of college Maclin.

Clark is a BEAST. He and Jones are a top flight rush tandem. Okafor and Ogbah are nice 2nd tier pieces. The LB corps got faster. Hitchens is back in a 4-3 where he's excelled. Honey Badger is much better than an absent Berry. Breeland is better than Nelson. Ward should continue to improve. Speaks will be back in position as a D-lineman. We're not even talking about the rookies, who show promise. But how about the deep, talented, and experienced coaching staff and how hands-on they are?

If they'd been healthy, last year should have been a respectable defense talent-wise. Coaching was shit (guys not knowing assignments at the end of the year). No adjustments, no fire, no nothing. Lame.

This will be a much better squad.

I think the ball hit the ground . But Mahomes with a ball high to Kelce. Two routes in the area, do not sure for whom. Mathieu with the tip. Wade came up with the potential pick. No replay to confirm. Sorry. #Chiefs

D’Montre Wade just intercepted Mahomes, who patted his chest as if to say “my bad.” Wade has been the early camp surprise.

I'll be surprised if he makes the roster.

If some of these young corners can do something this team changes drastically.

Noticeable here during the team period. They are only doing thud, not full tackle. Mutliple defenders coming over to gang tackle. They aren’t stopping. D is getting their pursuit angles and breaking down in proper tackling form. The small things that can pay off in January.

Darrel Williams has shined today in his reps. Good speed and vision. He seems more confident on the field this year. #Chiefs

Agreed.

DB's ALL get burned, as it's one of the toughest positions in sports, especially with the rules handicap.

DB's just need to try and balance it out as much as possible. Sorenson may not be worth the cost, but he's not horrible at his job.

Wade was kind of lost in the shuffle last year, but the guy was considered by some to be the best small school CB in the draft (others liked Tremon).

Like I’ve said before I have a buddy that went to school with him that raves about his talent. He’s a great kid.

I think Tremons return ability got him on the team but this year that doesn't have as much value.
