Because they were in poor health already.

How many under 60 in the US have died?

Yeah the toilet paper is nonsense but look around the world.

This is serious and it gets increasingly so every day.

Here's the 405 yesterday...

Can't say I disagree with the notion, missed a quiz or two at school, oh noes!

Yeah I take the 405 to work - traffic has been a dream this week.

It normally takes me 25 minutes each way on the 101 to drop off and pick up my child from middle school.

This week, it's averaged about 9 minutes each way.

I wish it would stay like this forever...

Probably be this way for awhile. I even drove right down the Embarcadero with no traffic. 280 is great. Restaurants are empty

That is correct. I'm not going overboard like some are and buying up shit tickets but it's at least something to pay attention to. I'm in my 40s and in relatively good shape so If I get it I won't worry to much and just deal with it like any other time I've gotten sick. My main concern is getting it and passing it on to my family that do have underlying issues. That and all the nut cases that's stock piling shit and keeping me from wiping my ass.

In 27 years of living in Los Angeles, I've never seen the 405, or any freeway for that matter, that empty during rush hour.

Not even after Northridge.

196 people died in Italy over the last 24 hours. Bigger single death toll then any one day in China. https://www.worldometers.info/corona...us-death-toll/

It could be an eye opener to some companies that they can save money on office space and have everyone work from home. That would have a lot of positive implications. I was proposing this week that my company try it as an experiment, so we can see and understand the situations where our presence is absolutely necessary. Maybe if we can identify and solve those areas, I'll save a ton of money on rent when our lease is up.
