Mostly because of injury. Hard to much worse than our blocking TEs. And he catches everything. I'd love for us to give him a shot. Not like he'll cost much. And if I'm randy moss, I tell my son his best career move is to play for Andy Reid.

I'm guessing you maybe meant to quote tredadda? For the record, I'm not automatically convinced that Moss would be better than Bell. Bell has caught a TD pass in a playoff game. WTF has Moss done? Yes, small or undefinable sample size, but still.

That's a very sports fan thing to say, the ol' "Yeah, bring in so and so, he can't be worse than what we have now." I assure you (not you personally, just a generalization), there have been plenty of people on an NFL roster historically at the TE position that were worse than Blake Bell and even, gulp, Nick Keizer.

Now, that doesn't mean you stop looking for upgrades via the draft and free agency, but the automatic assumption that anyone with the letters TE after their name is immediately better than what we have is foolish. Go ahead and bring Moss in but have realistic expectations and see what he can do.
