Nzoner's Game Room>2019 Free agency Thread
O.city 03:24 PM 02-05-2019
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

Clowney underachieved. Clark lost Avril and Bennett and still balled out.

If Clowney has underachieved for a first overall pick, the Chiefs should cut and be done with Fisher.

How many defensive linemen are they going to carry? If they trade for Clark....then I would assume that KPass is more than likely gone.

Clark
Ogbah
Okafor
Speaks
Jones
Nnadi
Hamilton
Williams

Kpass is gone if they draft a DE as well.

I feel like a guy like ogbah is much more there for insurance in case someone else doesn't step up. If kpass steps up, because the coaches seemed to like him, Id think if anyone goes it could be ogbah.

Kpass was a healthy inactive last year a fair amount. I wouldn't really put much stock in him being around much.

I’d be down for that if Fisher wasn’t cheap and good LT’s weren’t in such small supply..

no he's not - I say that because Seth did a video stating that and Matt Derrick also has indicated this. I just trust those guy's opinions.

It turns out that new #Chiefs’ DE Emmanuel Ogbah and Chris Jones trained together prior to the Combine in 2016. Three years later, Ogbah just revealed that Jones was the first person to call him when the edge rusher was traded to Kansas City.

Yeah I’d just send him to Seattle in the trade if it were to happen. Kpass and a 2nd round pick, maybe a 6th.

Seemed to be coaches vocal and upset about Kpass not being used right. Of any Sutton player, he maybe gets a benefit of the doubt. For coaches to single him out, seems to hint that they see talent if he's used correctly.
