Asthma is a very serious pre-condition or even seasonal allergies for coronavirus. It restricts your ability to get phlegm out of your lungs. Phlegm staying in your lungs = increased chance of pneumonia.

You get pneumonia and it crosses over those alveoli previously mentioned into the blood stream, now you have an immediate life threading health situation.

I'm surprised Washington hasn't blown up so much. I know they talked in the beginning that they thought the virus had possibly been circulating in the community for 4-6 weeks before the first diagnosed case.

That underlying health condition was discovered after he had died during the autopsy.

That's another good reason to not rush and panic over every younger person who dies of COVID-19... there could be other underlying health conditions involved.

Nothing about his condition was was acquired from the community , meaning his cancer .
