Nzoner's Game Room>How will you react?
comochiefsfan 04:57 PM 01-14-2020
Knocking on wood here and allowing myself to dream a little.

But if we’re fortunate enough to finish this run, what will your reaction be when Mahomes goes down to a knee to close out the Super Bowl?

I haven’t been a Chiefs fan long enough to cry I don’t think, but it’ll definitely be a feeling of joy that I’ve maybe never felt before. I probably won’t get a lick of sleep that night.

Just wondering how some of you longer suffering fans would take in the victory.

2 more games and this could actually be a reality. Beat the Titans on Sunday.

On a good note, Cynthia Frelund thinks it will be us vs. 49ers in the SB!

I have no idea. This is something I've been I've been wanting for 45 years. I imagine I'm probably going to cry if it does happen, but I won't know until it happens

You are 100% correct! :-)

The tears of jubilation will flow like a river from my eyes and my knees will give out causing me to collapse and hit my head on something that will probably kill me.

I'm going to be crying like a fucking baby if (when) we punch our ticket this weekend. That, I know.

I want to see Clark, Sunday night, 50 yard line, getting the trophy with his father's name in it. Then, he turns to the team, puts up his index finger.

"One more."

I'll be ecstatic with that. Then a nervous mess for two weeks.

The worst fight I've ever had with my wife was after that Steelers no TD debacle a few years ago. Ever since, I promised my her i wouldn't get so emotionally invested in the Chiefs (they've been pretty bad my entire life, what's the point?). So I'm not sure how I would feel. I wasn't angry walking out of Arrowhead last year when we lost to New England.

I'll probably be elated, we've suffered a long time, like my Cubs fans friends were when they finally got monkey off their backs.

I'll definitely shed a tear...then thank the Higher Power that I was able to still be alive to witness it. Knock on wood, though...that scenario is still 2 and 1/2 weeks away.

Trash cans, socks, starter jacket pullovers, sweatshirts, tshirts, jerseys, tecmo bowls, joe montana sega genesis football, shot glasses, pint glasses, boxer shorts, hats, beanies, gloves, posters, mirrors, neon bar lights, cereal boxes, derrick thomas first round draft pick rookie cards later.... I’ll cry like a baby

I’ve been tender hearted of late. Don’t know if it’s the wife and I splitting or my boy, 11 year old Golden starting to slow down.
But I’ll go ahead and call it. Imma cry like a baby.
I mean, I balled when DT died. And even Lamar. So a Chief SB victory...that’s a given, lol.

I cried when the Royals won it all in ‘15.

If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, I will be inconsolable.
