While I agree that Elvis is a stretch, especially when compared to acts today, I recall reading that the Los Angeles Vice squad warning him about his dancing and that critics reviled him for his dancing being vulgar. Venues forced him to modify his act because of it. Parents refused to let their kids go see him because of it (along with the whole black music bit).

What's interesting about these entertainer of the year type acts is that many of them are actually terrific singers. And part of the act is creating a gimmick that sells. Lady gaga is an incredible musician. Pink is a terrific vocalist, as is lizzo. If you've ever heard Katy perry sing unplugged she's talented too. Anyway, just an observation. [Reply]
Wow, whole lot of hating in this thread. Her music sucks, she’s fat, blah blah. How unhappy are you with your life if you can’t be happy for this girl for doing things her way, bucking the norm, and being who she is instead of conforming to what a bunch of bald goatee having fools would rather look at? I say good for her. Yeah I like me some fat girls, but Jesus the hate on here for someone earning a living doing something they love because of their size is some small dick sounding shit to me.
