Sources: In the wake of last night’s loss, the #Texans are releasing veteran CB Aaron Colvin, just over a year into a 4-year, $34M contract. He gets his $7.5M for 2019, which was guaranteed.

And in that case Ramsey or bouye would matchup with them and Colvin would go outside. [Reply]
Colvin was a total disaster last year and inactive for their one playoff game. Not great planning that he was being relied on that much Monday night in the first place.
The Texans also just handed out a decent sized deal of 3/33 to their C Nick Martin yesterday. [Reply]

Colvin was not a BOB guy. He never wanted him in the first place. He was brought to the Texans by Brian Gains, their old GM. Not defending BOB, because I think he totally blew the Jadeveon Clowney deal, who coincidentally was not one of his guys either. [Reply]

It took Derrick Thomas 10 years and over 150 games started before he got his first INT. Just Saying [Reply]
