carps “hit” should have been an out and potential double play with bases loaded. You know, his usual AB. Murphy blew that and the official scorer took pity on carp.

But at least that hit got Martinez out of there. Going to need him against the Brewers. They don’t take 2/3, they are toast.

Can’t really complain about where we are. We have a “real” chance to win the division. Play meaniful baseball the last week of the division. Catch a few breaks maybe steal the series from the Braves then get roasted by the Dodgers.
