Another ultimate 2020 note: the Ravens-Steelers game is kicking off Wednesday at 3:40 pm because NBC wanted and was committed to broadcasting the 88th Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday night, per sources. Tree lighting trumped football.

Wednesday to Monday has 4 days in between it.
Teams routinely would play on Sunday and then play on Thursday night football, which has 3 days in between it. [Reply]
Damn, was all revved up for some tuesday night football
If there is any good that comes from covid mania in the NFL, its that you find out pdq which teams are most cohesive and well ran... if you can juggle all this garbage and still field a winner... you're damn good [Reply]
So.... I just read that Ingram and Dobbins will be eligible to play now that the game is on Wednesday.
Edit: Lamar tested positive so unless the game doesn't get played this week he won't be in it. He likely will be able to play in their next game since it's on tuesday.
I bet the ravens players 'threatened' to not play because of 'lack of practice' in order to get the game pushed back another day so they could get those guys back.

Finalized changes ...
• Ravens at Steelers, Wed. 12/2, 3:40 p.m. ET. • WFT at Steelers, Mon. 12/7, 5 p.m. ET. • Bills vs. 49ers, at Arizona, Mon. 12/7, 8:15 p.m. ET. • Cowboys at Ravens, Tues. 12/8, 8:05 p.m. ET.

Sounds like the NFL gave them flexibility...
NBC would have moved the tree lighting ceremony to accommodate the NFL. "Usually known for playing hardball -- even with its partners -- the NFL decided against pressing the issue." SBJ Media is live: 🔒https://t.co/k8f2llbzVJ🔒 pic.twitter.com/6LSrRgFCPK

The Ravens have an outbreak of the virus which necessitated a postponement of the game for medical reasons.
Denver does not have an outbreak... they had one QB test positive and their other QB’s in mandatory quarantine due to their negligent behavior in regards to protocols.
The NFL made the rules clear from the start of this season... they are only going to postpone a game due to medical reasons. [Reply]
