I really wasn't thinking RB at all, at least not in the front half of the draft. The two Williams', Washington, Sherman, Thompson and that kid on the PS that I'm blanking on and I thought we were set. The more I've researched CEH the happier I am with the pick, though. [Reply]

The fact that they (Brett, Andy) did, however, says a lot. Opponents should be terrified.
You've seen the Kollman reaction vid, right? That he was motherfucking the pick as a Texans fan makes me very happy with it and quite sure Veach and Reid nailed the pick. [Reply]
I trust whatever the Chiefs will do. However, I'll confess that I would have expected Swift (Lions - Pick 35) or Dobbins (Ravens - Pick 55) to the be the pick, and while he didn't seem like a fit for the Chiefs I was particularly intrigued by Jonathan Taylor (Colts - Pick 41).
It's hard to imagine how disappointing it would be to be Swift. The Chiefs pass you over at 32 and then the Lions take you three picks later. I bet his agent took away his belt and shoelaces. [Reply]
I did not want a RB in the first or second round, I'm more appreciative the Chiefs did after seeing Williams opt out of the season. I wanted Antonio Gibson in the later rounds. [Reply]
Dobbins had some sweet highlights and would have been great with us- but, after seeing how giddy Veech and Andy were to get CEH, I think we have our guy for the next 10 years. [Reply]

Same for me. Akers.
But only because for some reason I didn't take CEH that seriously. Watched a lot of tape on Swift, Taylor, Akers, Dobbins - not so much on CEH.
After the fact, watching tape on all of them it's clear imo that the Chiefs made the right choice. Had I done my homework on CEH I would've had him as the best fit for our offense. He's gonna be fun to watch, and I have no idea how teams are going to stop our offense. [Reply]
