Not necessarily. Mahomes was MVP in 2018 and only got rated 4th in the 2019 list. Drew Brees was ranked 3rd. Watch out for Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack.

If I'm not mistaken, this show rates players for the upcoming season. 2019 seasons will be weighted pretty heavily, but with the way the postseason played out, I will be shocked if Patrick Mahomes isn't #1.

I'm guessing Mahomes, Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson will all wind up in the top 10.

I've never figured out the timeline. Half the time it seems like there'll be some guy on the list who hasn't played in a year. I think sometimes the players merely don't follow instructions well.
