Nzoner's Game Room>What is on your bucket list?
scho63 09:29 PM 07-19-2017
I've been very lucky in life and fortunate to have had an incredible amount of experiences: financially, physically and emotionally. Many of you know most of my foibles and failures but during my recent sabbatical I've looked at the few remaining things on my bucket list.

1. Galapagos Islands
2. Greek Islands
3. Massive Orgy
4. Chiefs Super Bowl Win
5. Perfect life for my family
6. Washington DC all working together
7. Better health and finances for Americans
8. Safari in Kenya and Tanzania
9. Date the perfect woman
10. I start the perfect business

What do you want on your bucket list? :-)

:-) I read his post and didn't catch that. I just said I pretty much did that with the exception of Alaska. So I pretty much did that with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii. But I did rent a bike in Maui.:-)

The museum there is well done and is one of those that is self guided with a recording. This allows you to go through at whatever pace you want and still get the full guided tour experience.

I live in the same Oak Cliff neighborhood where Lee Harvey Oswald lived at the time. The boarding house he was living in was kept in tact and the Texas theater where he was captured was restored back in the early 90s. There's other stuff too in the neighborhood and they do guided tours.

1: Egypt
2: Petra
3: Sturgeon Fishing
4: Everest Basecamp Hike
5: Elk Hunt
6: Drink Trappist beer at a Belgian monastery
7: Take an Arctic ice breaker trip
8: Tarpon fishing trip
9: attend the Super Bowl
10: Publish a book

Some good ones I’ve crossed off in recent years:

1: Visit Athens and the major Greek islands
2: visit Rome and Sicily
3: Notre Dame pre-fire
4: attend the World Series (thanks Royals)
5: catch a Goliath Grouper
6: Drive across Poland and Austria

A few things I’ve done that were incredibly impactful, but that I wouldn’t call bucket list items included visiting Auschwitz, immediately followed by a guided tour of the path Easy Company took from Normandy to the Battle of the Bulge. The Normandy trip was the single most incredible three days of travel in my life.

Most of mine are centered around travel.
1. Do a central Europe tour - Visit Germany, Northern Italy, etc. Maybe swing south and spend some time in Greece
2. See the Great Wall of China
3.Take a bicycle tour through some of the beautiful areas of the USA that I have not been to.
