Who wants to take it over? I've been running it for 14 years and really don't want to do it anymore.
I have a spreadsheet that does all the calculations. It just takes time entering the bets and results correctly. I'd be happy to hand the spreadsheet over to whomever wants this job and show them the ropes. [Reply]

What would everyone think if I changed the rules a bit that would limit each player to a total of $10,000 wagered each week? That would reduce the workload a bit.
Simplify it for yourself, I know it has to be a ton of work the way it stands now. [Reply]

I think that this is the way that I am going to proceed. Plus it will make it a hell of a lot more challenging to win it. Some of these guys are wagering $50,000+ per week once they have a big stack built up.
I think I may limit the number of bets too. Maybe a rule that you are limited to 6 individual wagers and/or $10,000 wagered per week. That will keep someone from making twenty $500 bets, for example.

I think I am going to keep it to myself for now. I really appreciate the offer to take it over. I'll look into taking it to Google Sheets in case I need someone to take it over if I am unavailable for a particular week. [Reply]

I think it would be fine to limit each player to something like 5-8 bets per week, regardless of the $ amount. Keeps your workload down and preserves the spirit of the competition where those who've won in the past weeks can make bigger and bigger bets. [Reply]

True. It's not the size of the bet that takes time, it's the number of them that I have to enter into the spreadsheet. I'll think on it. [Reply]

No skin off my teeth. I'm just spitballing ideas. I just want to play again next year and I have the time that I could help.
Tbh though I wouldn't be thrilled with any of those changes. I don't know how many bets I made in any given week but I liked to play the field and place a wide spread of bets. Limiting the total amount bet would be fine as long as it goes back to unlimited for the playoffs. [Reply]

Remember the golden rule, he who has the gold makes the rules. You should be able to customize this however you see fit to make it work the best for you.
You have done a heck of job at it over the years. [Reply]
I've decided to run this again, with no changes to the rules we previously used. Sign up now in the Fantasy/Casino Forum.
As always, the previous year's participants have first dibs on their spot. You must claim your spot by 6:00 PM Central on September 7th. At that point I will fill unclaimed spots from the waiting list. [Reply]

If you like Excel and want it in the cloud to be able to share as needed, just use OneDrive. [Reply]
