ICE arrested more than 80,000 illegal immigrants in 2018 with DUI charges, convictions

More than a quarter of a million people illegally present in the United States were removed from the country in fiscal year 2018, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Approximately half of the 158,000 people arrested by ICE — 80,730 — had been charged or convicted of driving under the influence, according to the agency's annual report.

The second-highest category for arrests was for crimes related to "dangerous drugs," followed by traffic offenses.

Immigration offenses — like having been deported once before — was a common denominator for more than 63,000 of the people arrested.

More than 50,000 people taken into custody had been charged or convicted on assault.

Exactly 23,052 people had faced legal trouble for obstructing judiciary, Congress, legislature, etc.

The criminal backgrounds are the reasons they were known to law enforcement and pursued by ICE.

More than half of the total 256,085 people who were removed from the country were Mexican citizens, making it the country with the most nationals deported from the U.S.

A little more than 141,000 Mexicans were removed. Mexico, part of North America, was followed by the three northernmost countries in Central America: Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, respectively.

Guatemala had approximately 50,000 citizens repatriated. Honduras received 28,894 citizens and El Salvador, 15,445.

Oh, and your GAO study did not conclude that 25,000 murders from 2005 to 2008 were committed by illegal aliens. It concluded that 25,000 illegal aliens in federal prison from 2005-2010 or in state jail from 2003-2009 had been arrested for homicide, and obviously someone in jail for murder in 2005 could have committed it in 1985. It's right there in the "scope and methodology" section of your own ****ing paper, retard. Clearly you are not equipped to read your own sources, because you are too ****ing stupid to understand what you're looking at.

HMMMMMM, strong argument!

On one hand, the numbers suggest you're completely full of shit, you've already been caught posting multiple other pieces of fake news in a single ****ing page of this thread, and some of that fake news included the very logical basis you were using to defend your claim.

On the other hand, you think a web search with a dozen results means "you have no doubt" (LOL, and you're so trustworthy!) you could find the numbers you've been nakedly asserting with no citation or logical basis.

Gee, I wonder who's right! What a retard :-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-)

Man busted for killing elderly woman claimed ‘his pants fell’ before alleged sex assault
By Joe Marino and Ben Feuerherd January 11, 2020 |

The man accused of sexually assaulting and killing a 92-year-old woman in Queens claimed to cops that he’d been trying to help the old woman — but then he lost his balance, his belt broke, his pants fell down and his genitals accidentally came in contact with hers, it was revealed in court Friday.

The suspect, 21-year-old Reeaz Khan, told detectives that he found the woman, Maria Fuertes, on the ground near Liberty Avenue and 127th Street in Richmond Hill at about midnight on Monday and tried to help her, a prosecutor said at his arraignment on Friday.

Khan told detectives, “He fell down, his belt broke, his pants fell down and his penis fell near her vagina,” the prosecutor, Joseph Grasso, said in court.

At that point, something came over him, Khan claimed.

“Defendant then stated that he did lift up her skirt and he tried to put his penis inside of her,” the prosecutor added.

Sources previously said Khan admitted to suffering “uncontrollable urges,” and said that this was the first time he acted on them.

Fuertes lay half-dressed in 32-degree weather for two hours before she was found, conscious but “incoherent,” at around 2 a.m., according to the criminal complaint.

She suffered a broken spine, rib fractures and bruising on her chest and neck, among other injuries, according to court papers.

Prosecutors noted investigators have collected significant surveillance footage that places Khan at the scene and traces him back to his house.

He was ordered held without bond and is due back in court on Jan. 15.

His defense attorney asked the judge that he be placed in protective custody while he is behind bars.

Khan allegedly followed Fuertes from Liberty Avenue onto 127th Street, where he came up behind her, threw her to the ground and attacked and sexually assaulted her, police said.

“There was some sort of physical contact between the two … causing both of them to fall to the ground, where they landed behind a parked car,” Deputy Chief of Detective Bureau Queens South Joseph Kenny said earlier Friday.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz, noting the victim was found “with her clothes pulled above her waist and near death,” called the slaying “a senseless, brutal act of violence.”

A Queens landlord trying to collect $200 in back rent was allegedly shoved down the front steps by a deadbeat tenant — a deadly push caught on surveillance video, police and the victim’s family said Monday.

Edgar Moncayo, 70, is seen standing outside his Corona house Sunday afternoon, talking with his wife on the phone and trying to gain access to the building when his tenant, 22-year-old Alex Garces, opens front door.

“Call the police!” Moncayo yells to his wife in Spanish, as he tries to storm the door, according to doorbell video footage obtained by the Daily News.

Moments later, Garces’ upper body appears in the video frame as he forcefully leans out the door and shoves the elderly man off the stoop — sending Moncayo flying backwards and smashing onto the pavement at the foot of the entry steps.

Moncayo, whose head slammed into the sidewalk, suffered a traumatic brain injury. Medics took him to Elmhurst Hospital, where he died, authorities said.

Passaic murder case dismissed over police misconduct, despite DNA match
By Reuven Fenton and Vincent BaroneJanuary 14, 2020 | 1:56pm | Updated

An illegal immigrant whose genetic material was allegedly found on a dead New Jersey prostitute will walk free on murder charges — all because police wrongfully obtained his DNA and a judge wouldn’t let them take another sample, according to local reports.

Still, Guatemalan national Rafael Camey is expected to be deported Tuesday following the decision in a Passaic court to drop charges against him, the Bergen Record reports. He’d been detained for more than five years as the case progressed.

Prosecutors allege Camey, 38, raped and murdered Rutherford prostitute Karen Splettstoesser, 50, whose body was found behind a Passaic supermarket with Camey’s DNA in 2013.

The officers at the time informed Camey of his Miranda rights in his native Spanish but had him sign a consent form to give his DNA, collected via a mouth swab, in English without translation.

A trial court previously determined that the DNA sample, the main evidence against Camey in the case, was collected unlawfully.
