Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.
Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:
If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point. [Reply]

I may be able to curb my caffeine usage but it isn't necessary so I wouldn't even bother. Everyone that I know that drinks coffee or energy drinks on a daily basis gets headaches or can't make it through the day when they don't get their fix.. They're fiends.
If you can't make it through an hour workout without food, you do. It may be solved with better overall nutrition. But again, caffeine isn't just about energy. It's an ergogenic, too. [Reply]

But we already knew that.
I only take Caffeine pre-workout. About 200 mgs. Otherwise, I never touch it.
I drink a lot of coffee. Mostly because it's winter and I want something warm to drink while I'm outside at the dog park. It just helps that I always go to the park before I gym, so I get the caffeine benefit. Also, coffee is super good for you. [Reply]

I want to try that butter thing - what's that called w/ the butter and coffee, lol? Did you ever try that out? ha ha [Reply]
I'd recommend finding a way to hold yourself accountable - if you like them that much - get another person involved if you need to - You can quit them. [Reply]

You should talk to Silock then.
I hear he's giving away Red Bulls to guys who suck his cock. If you are in to that kind of thing that is. [Reply]
