People are wearing masks /taking some precautions in public dining areas, although not 100% but that might be helping, in homes people are taking zero precautions, so it only takes a few dinners getting it to cause an issue.

Some steps to lower the risk if you choose to be indoors with people not in your household:
:-) JFC you are a complete idiot at times.

I got an idea...close restaurants so people don't gather in homes!!!!!

Wow, so let's close the places that are taking precautions so people have no place to go except those places that aren't.

GREAT PLAN!!! :-)

Do you even think before you start spewing your myopic bullshit?

That was in response to your "living room spread" comment. As you can see, he's talking about gatherings at home with members of multiple households, as someone else previously tried to explain to you.

The ban on indoor dining is based on hospitalization rates.

You tried to link two things which really aren't, because of your political bias and agenda.

So where is the data that says indoor dining is causing hospitalizations?

Keep Dongering yourself....this is fun

maybe people should sleep in the restaurants too.

if you do not get the disease you can't bring it home. closing restaurants reduces the possibility of getting people exposed, because right now what they are doing isn't working so they are trying something else.

Who said there was, pete?

"Hospitalizations have not stabilized, and with a rising infection rate and NYC's density, this means that indoor dining is too high of a risk," the governor tweeted.

The argument is beyond idiotic. Every day more and more officials are having to acknowledge that closing restaurants is to deter people from going out not because restaurants are the debil!

But hey, you know, politics and what not.

Okay, time to break out the crayons...

We know this is spread by humans. Indoor dining includes people from multiple households, where masks are removed during eating. Therefore, it is an increases the risk of bringing the virus home.

So, they are going to mitigate that risk. It's pretty simple.
