Have there ever been two different team from the same city played in back to back championship with the same result except for the royals losing the first time. I thought it was mind blowing that the royals and chiefs did that

The Royals lost the 1st and won the 2nd
The Chiefs won the 1st and lost the 2nd

So the results weren't the same.

I said when the royals lost the first time. Pay attention. Yeah i was like i don't think any other city had two team had a back to back championship drive plus win one and lose the other.

Chiefs(season)-1966(L), 1969(W), 2019(W), 2020(L)

Royals- 1980(L), 1985(W), 2014(L), 2015(W)

I saying back to back with the 2014 15 royals and the 2019 and 2020 season. I don't think another city done it like we havs.

I don’t think so. I checked the cities you’d think would be in the running (Oakland, Pittsburgh, Boston) and none of them qualify, at least not in the Super Bowl era.
