I got in line at 7:30 and there were already 24 cars in line in front of me. They started opening up lines and I went from number 25 to about number 100. A guy came over and told me that I needed to pre register well of course nobody told me that I needed to be pre registered so I call and it's a 45 minute wait to talk to somebody. After about 20 minutes on the phone the guy that was sort of mean to me gave me another number to call I was able to get pre registered and I am now in line waiting to get my nose swab. The funny part about all of this is that I will get my nose swab for covid test so that I can get my a** camered for a colonoscopy.

Make sure you let them get the swab all the way back.....I hear fro our nurses all the time how patients won't let them do that and they know it is going to come out negative

Just was about to post that. WOOHOO

2) Oxford trial report. No serious adverse effects. Acetaminophen, aka paracetamol, reduced any mild effects. Neutralizing antibodies induced in all patients after second dose. Neutralising antibody responses correlated strongly with antibody levels https://t.co/XV6k1MS88F pic.twitter.com/fo8Wh9pZHL

I'm rapidly losing my temper with the media. Primary response antibodies are a pisspoor mesure of immunity and the presense of antigen specific T cells are quite literally the entire basis of the adaptive immune response. https://t.co/t2xPArwTEA

Here's a thread from an actual immunologist on this stuff. What I've been trying to say for a while, she says better.

Good news.

Is it just that antibodies are easy to measure compared to the rest? That’s why the focus is there?

Yeah, they're easier to test for on a broad scale.

T cells can be found, but from my foggy memory, its tougher to do.

So 2 big pieces of good news on Monday morning. Thats nice.

It also looks like Arizona and Texas maybe on the way down, for sure Arizona. They spiked first so it would make sense. I'm guessing Texas, then Florida, then California in that order coming down the slope.

I don't think AZ is going down, they have a testing backlog of over 60k and they are sending patients out of state because of capacity issues.

Where are you seeing that?

All i've read their hospitalizations and such are going down as well.

Brazil is on the way down now as well and Chile is going down the slope hard.
