On third and goal at the 2, Carr lobs it to Edwards, who was held. No call, and the Raiders bench is penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for telling the officials they blew it, basically.
I came away from this game impressed as shit with Derek Carr. I know I bag on him and call him Alex Smith alot but he's really progressed in Gruden's offense. They could have won this game had his WR's and RB's been able to catch the ball. And respect for him not giving up in the final drive. He just chucked it and didn't care about stats.

Based on my eyes, yes they do. But the graphic they showed with the PFF rankings of their OLinemen was not great. That is why I stopped giving a shit about what PFF thinks. Once they told me Steven Nelson was an elite corner and that Brady has been better than Mahomes THIS YEAR, I just stopped listening to them. [Reply]
Besides his offensive line and TE, he was also prepared. He knew exactly what the Chiefs were going to do the entire game. Hopefully, if we meet in the playoffs, Spags will run some crazy ass shit that he's not prepared for.
All that said, he's a 29 year old QB that when surrounded by good talent, can be a top 10 QB in the league. When I watch other teams now, I keeping thinking, "wow, they are a lot like the 2014 Chiefs, or the 2016 Chiefs, or whatever. The difference Mahomes makes is huge. [Reply]
