These MLS cup games have not disappointed so far. Still have a great Seattle-LAFC matchup in a couple days too. Huge win for Sporting today. What a roller coaster of emotions for KC sports fans today.

Yea. Both goalies really overcommitted multiple times. Like, if they would have just stood still, they would have blocked some of those shots.

I really would wish the USA national team take Melia as their 3rd goalkeeper, to just stop penalties during a shootout. Sub him in, in the 119th min.

Steffen is a much better GK than Melia let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The guy was a great PK stopper in his MLS time as well. He’s only going to get better practicing everyday with Man City and learning under Ederson. Using a bench spot on a PK goalie would be ridiculous.

So Nashville is up 1-0 in Extra Time against Toronto FC.

NE Revolution is up 2-0 against Philadelphia Union.

Sporting KC could be the highest remaining seed to host MLS Cup if results hold.

Not SKC related but eventually these guys will be our main rivals.
