Yup but didn’t he play a lot more in previous games? Seems like an odd time to limit him for health reasons after a bye against the only team with a shot at our division. [Reply]

Exactly. He started game one, now all of sudden he's a role player? Not really a great sign. [Reply]
Would like to know why the coaches have made this determination...is it health, is it effort or is it results....and are they necessarily related? [Reply]

It appears to be mostly health related. He’s ACL surgery was January 14 of this year. Chiefs are wise to protect him as much as possible. At least until they’re sure he’s 100% back and able to handle more snaps. [Reply]

While he may be cleared physically, Thornhill could be fighting a confidence problem with the injury. Perhaps he hasn't gotten to the point where he trusts that he can cut sharply, etc the same way as before the injury.
Many athletes have said the actual recovery time from an ACL injury is 18-24 months [Reply]
Dude kicked ass today, whatever hesitation he had all year he laid it out on the field and was dominant. I think we have the best safety duo entering 2021 if he plays like that. [Reply]

Yeah he set a tone early with the almost INT and a big hit on Diggs. Happy he had this moment after what happened last year. [Reply]
Thorny had himself quite a day. Really happy for him. I knew he was always going to be a great player for the Chiefs, but after the BS a lot of fans put on him this season, I was ecstatic for him that he had the kind of game that he had today. [Reply]
