Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

I'd recommend it, but there are some cooks out there. Do your research.

Hey hardcores...

What's the hot pre these days? The total wimp nerdery in the 101 thread has forced me to go to the gym tonight and I need to jack myself up on pre before I go else I have wussy lifts.

I was buying the two fer Cellucor C4 at Costco. Is that any good versus other stuff?

I never really used pre's until Dom told me to and then I was hooked. (Besides, I like caffiene. Caffiene with creatine is a major super cool for me.)

What you bros using these days?

A lot of formulations recently changed. The FDA went after DMAA so companies switched to using Amp Citrate then the FDA went after Amp Citrate so they had to reformulate again. This is currently my favorite, but it's only 20 servings per canister.

I have some C4. It's alright. These days, though, my pre is just 4 cups of coffee.

Ate up lifer E6 Army sergeants drink coffee.

I don't want to like coffee.

Plus I'd probably piss myself while doing dead lifts if I had four cups of coffee prior to the gym. Girls would laugh at me and I'd have to find another gym.
