Yeah this isn't going to spread in the US like it did in China. Over half of our cases came from a cruise ship. So.......

Buy now because the market is going to come roaring back. If Vietnam Beat it lol

Who said anything about telling me every thought he has?

Just that doctors should be able to speak to the public without Pence's "preclearance". Its a ridiculous and unhelpful process.

But it means the transmissibility of the disease is higher, which offsets that.

Free wheeling and uncontrolled speech of underlings during times of crisis has not been the policy in this country for well over 100 years. Why do you choose Trump's presidency to pretend you think it's a bad idea? And, as the press has made abundantly clear with their questions of Trump just on this very subject, even the slightest perceived bit of daylight between Trump and those underlings will be used to attack and/or criticize the president, his approach, and his decisions, so he'd be a fool not to make sure the the public is being given a consistent message.

Like I said, stop looking for something to blame Trump about.

As I pointed out earlier, Dr. Fauci has been making public statements about health crises for 30 years and has never had this condition put on his ability to communicate with the public. He has NEVER demonstrated "free wheeling uncontrolled speech".

There is another guy though that does fit that description.

“As of Feb. 27, there have been 69 reported deaths from the new coronavirus outside of China. These include 26 deaths in Iran, 13 deaths in South Korea, 17 deaths in Italy, 4 deaths among passengers who were aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship, 2 deaths in Hong Kong, 3 deaths in Japan, 2 in France, and one each in Taiwan and the Philippines, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Currently, most of the patients who have died from the infection have been older than 60 and have had preexisting conditions.”

Its like people have no ability to look at a trend line.

Do people think there were thousands of deaths in China in the first couple of weeks?

I think it's safe to wait for evidence that useful information is being stifled before getting too worried about it. Fauci doesn't seem to be outraged about the arrangement.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to present a unified front. Let's see how the united front works before saying it's the wrong approach.

No. But Trump wants a unified and consistent message, so it's obviously the end of days.
