This is why the losses against LSU and Ole Miss were killer.

Yup, now its do or die time. They pretty much have to win the last two or will one be enough?

They don't really deserve it this year. Get the NIT and come back with a team that doesn't have so many holes and weaknesses next year.

They don't have a PG next year, they lose Barnett and Kassius, and Tilmon has shown almost nothing to inspire any confidence in his ability to stay on the floor or affect games.

As for the rest, good game.

Yeah I was worried about that. I guess a one year turnaround was too much to hope for.

It's been a big one year turnaround. How much would you have expected out of this team without MPJ before the season started?

Hell the tournament was considered a long shot even with MPJ

So what's a reasonable estimate for when we should have enough of a pipeline and system in place to be in contention most years? Or is that hoping for too much?

You pay players. Knew MU wasn't winning on the road in this one.

Think they have to win one. Lunardi still had them as a 7 as of last night.

Porter will play in at least one of the next two, possibly both, and they'll win a game or two, minimum, in the SEC tournament, make the tournament, and scare the crap out of whatever teams even up in their quadrant of the bracket.

All the doom and gloom here is unfounded.

Yes, I've read they need to win 1 more most likely to be in. Really hoping mpjr gets minutes Tuesday

I agree. The team is in pretty good shape considering where they were a year ago.

Even if they don't qualify for the tournament (they will), still in a better place.
