My wife manages teams all over the world from her home office with just a computer and a headset. The agency, which is one of the largest the world over, has indicated it'll be at least 2 full years before they even begin to think about staffing their offices again, with this happening across the board in many different industries.

But with new challenges come new innovations and new ways of thinking, which will undoubtedly ruffle the feather of "Old School" employees and managers, but now that the train is rolling full speed, it'll be impossible to stop.

I think it was just a matter of time before this happened but the virus exacerbated it by probably a decade.

I was at my PMD the other day and she told me that the latest journals she has been reading on the virus is that it is mutating every 2 weeks and slowly but surely is becoming less virulent with each mutation. Not out of the woods yet obviously but its getting closer.

:-)

Those are not their original guidelines. It took a huge push from the White House for them to lighten their recommendations, which of course, is horseshit.

But hey, let's send 75 million kids back to school but cancel people at their convention out of fear of a massive spread of the virus, which totally makes sense.

Feel sorry for this years freshman college classes. Incoming freshman will not be allowed to participate in social clubs, intramural sports or enjoy so many activities which enhances the college experience. Sad

It's an inaccurate map. Virginia has cancelled the season.

Thanks. I don't know when it was created. I'd assumed recently.

Interesting that almost all of the Midwest is a go, but MO still hadn't committed.

IMO, it's mostly the idiocy with the headline of that article, quickly followed by this in the 2nd paragraph: "But the new guidelines posted Thursday do recommend that local officials should consider closing schools, or keeping them closed, if there is substantial, uncontrolled transmission of the virus."

And then in the actual guidelines it mentions the importance of proper hygiene in schools, sanitizing and cleaning, etc.

"ERMERGERD THE CDC SAYS ALL KIDS NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL.... well, except in that one part where it's no longer black and white and other considerations.

The guidelines seem fine at a glance... it's the click bait headline that's retarded.
