He even voiced the character in various Robot Chicken and Family Guy episodes dedicated solely to Star Wars as well as The LEGO Movie. Donald Glover stepped into the role earlier this year to play a younger Lando in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

In Episode IX, Williams joins returning franchise stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Adam Driver, plus newcomer (and frequent J.J. Abrams collabroator) Keri Russell.

Kylo, Palpatine and Ghost Luke better carry this movie.
Gimme a Poe storyline where he's not arguing with pink-hair for an entire movie too.

Redditors caught that the official Disney SW presser or whatever relating to the trailer changed the description from that scene of the sizzle reel where Rey was first said to be a "vision" and was modified to "sight".

Someone just pointed out something EXTREMELY interesting to me.

These are not First Order Star Destroyers.

They are...IMPERIAL...Star Destroyers.

I thought that myself when I finally noticed the difference.

They're in the Unknown Regions, aren't they?

"Two dozen fighters against a stupid amount of Star Destroyers?"

What do you want to bet they found Palpatine's old fleet floating around in the Unknown Regions and are going there to steal it?

The other idea I've seen is that Rey going dark is a red herring, that the fight sequences between Rey and Kylo are red herrings, and the movie ends up being Rey and Kylo/Resistance and First Order eventually fighting together against Palpatine's forces, as they return from the Unknown Regions.

Seems a little convenient, but we know what they're giving away in trailers is probably a smokescreen.

Take with heap big grain of salt:

Some of this ties in with spoilers I have heard from several sources, but other parts sound too disjointed and unfocused. Of course, if we take a moment to remember who we're dealing with here( JJ, Lucas, Disney ), then it's possible that the story COULD be this lopsided.

Meh.

So the lore is that the Empire had moved a huge portion of its production to the unknown region before "New Hope" and have building up ever since. This was done by palpatine as a safety net if they ever had to remake the empire.

After Endor, not before. He's supposed to be bedridden in this movie, too old to get around and on his way out. Wants Rey and Kylo to rule his rebuilt empire together. Talks about a "force diad" that allows two people strong in the force to achieve a greater power together than they could apart. Explains that he and Vader were supposed to comprise one but could not due to Vader's failure at Mustafar and his inability to completely let go of Anakin Skywalker.
Wants Ren to bring Rey to him so that he can turn her. Rey sees a dark vision of herself when she touches an artifact that belongs to Palpatine. ( Trailer ).

Leaves Ren for dead on the ruins of the death star after stabbing him in the chest with his own saber. Ren sees vision of Solo who tells him it's never too late to return to the light. Ren discards his crossguard saber and resumes being Ben Solo.
