Happy Columbus day all. Since we are celebrating the guy that sailed out from Spain, looking for India and China, and landed in the Bahamas, where he introduced smallpox, used slavery on the natives, and then took some of them home as slaves along with some of their gold, what are you going to do to celebrate?
I thought I'd roam around the neighborhood up the road from me. Stop at the first house I see. Take a shit in their yard. Give them my chest cold. Help myself to a beer in the garage. Bring their kids back to my place and have them rake up my leaves. That should about to do it.
Well, if it's going to be a holiday and named after the first European to set foot in N. America, it should be named after Leif Erikson. Viking Day! Much better sounding and way cooler hats to wear to celebrate [Reply]

Funny I went into the Navy on Tuesday October 14th 1980. I was officially counted as starting on October 13th. But since it was a holiday I went in the next day. So technically my first day was a holiday.
Spent the morning cleaning the gunk out of the carburetor on my pressure washer (fuck ethanol) and then pressure washing my patio and shed. I'll spend the rest of the week cleaning the mile (exaggerated) of pvc fence. Good times... [Reply]
