More trade news: The #Chiefs are deep in talks with the #49ers on a trade for star pass-rusher Dee Ford, sources say. Things have escalated and this could get done by the end of the night. Ford needs to work out a new contract with SF, which is a big piece of this.

Niner fans on reddit have already started making threads like... “Dee Ford is a great player, but with his injury history it’d be great if we could flip him for comparable compensation we got him for last year...” Not all teams have an 88 million dollar 3rd down rusher, but soon 49er fans will have to accept that this is his ceiling.
