Yeah, he wouldn't be a bad 2 year solution if you're really only counting on him for 1 and hoping to be able to replace him the following year.

Probably strictly a Mike in this system; could likely stay on the field in sub-packages but when that starts to slip, it disappears in a hurry. And at 30 years old it could vanish at any time so you'd best have a plan if that's faded.

No idea what I'd be willing to give him though. Could probably justify $4-5 million AAV but I suspect he'll get more than that. I just think you're likely looking to move off him by 2020. He just had a career year but historically he's not that kind of player. And guys that flash late in their careers tend to fade out just as quickly.
