It is currently a terrible combination of a defense that can't get off the field and an offense that is not disciplined enough to maximize their possessions when the defense finally does get off the field (or gets a rare stop/turnover).
Exhibit A was yesterday after Ward's INT (finally getting Houston off the field after another long drive).
The Chiefs first offensive play call is a quick pass play to freaking DAT?!
That isn't valuing your possessions when your first play call after being off the field for an eternity is a pass play to a guy who shouldn't even be on the team.
