I'm giving you facts. It's up to you to acknowledge them, or not.

wut? It killed more people in 2-3 months than the flu does all year even with the CDC exaggerated estimated flu deaths.

Just for the record, here's the IHME model that everyone was using in March. They predicted 82k deaths by August 1, and we managed to double that. Perhaps your memory is a little fuzzy about what "they" were saying.

Not at all. I’m perfectly willing to discuss it with you or DaFace. I’m probably wrong. I’m fine with that. But I’m not interested in wading through dozens of Donger posts to do it. There’s a reason I don’t do DC at all anymore. He’s a disease.

It only took three posts. And everything I stated in those three posts are facts.

Yes predicting the future of a new virus with little to no information about it and millions of variables is difficult but those who get it wrong should still suffer for it and never be trusted again .

Sarcasm aside , it could have been millions without mitigation.but we will never find out , and the way this virus spreads had a lot to do with the change in masks recommendations along with the data that what were doing wasn’t as effective as hoped , trying to keep PPE for medical professionals was also an issue.

I’ve been reading this thread for over a week. You have hundreds of posts in that time. That’s a lot more than 3.

I have misdiagnosed rare pathology at some that I have never before using my glorified fish finder , still wonder why I am not in jail and doctors still send me patients.

It really just depends on the age of the person getting infected.

It really is that simple.

Saying Covid is no more fatal than certain strains of the flu for children & teenagers is probably not even a stretch.

However, saying that for any other age group is false.

We do not need to protect the children. We need to protect the grandparents.

That's correct. And to address your questions, it only took three.

Yes, I'm aware of the IFR based on ages.
