Someday we need to teach you how to embed. No one clicks on links.

* VE for infection wanes over time, and is ~50-60% after 6 months.
* VE for severe disease is **still high** after 6 months - 94% for ages 40-59, 86% for 60+.

* Well, in the study posted today VE for symptoms isn't analysed. The authors explain that the data about symptoms in the national db isn't reliable enough.
Bases on that, I think the analysis of waning VE for symptomatic infection in Israel can be disregarded at this point pic.twitter.com/civEicFp6N

Not a huge surprise but that Israel study showing significant breakthrough symptomatic infections has been walked back due to bad data. Sometimes an outlier is an outlier for a reason.

I remember when this happened. It was someone who traveled to China or something I think. It was contained and didn't lead to a local outbreak.

If I'm remembering correctly, which I might not be.

You may be incorrect since this is a recent finding.

Curious about where their Nebraska data is coming from. It doesn't make a ton of sense that it would be restricted to a state border like that.

I mobile Chrome, you can go to the settings thing in the top right and there's a check box for Desktop Site.... makes embedding much easier. I assume other mobile browsers would have similar options. :-)

You can actually get the embed code from Twitter's mobile site. You just can't get it from the app, which makes no sense.

If I'm really motivated to embed something, I copy the link from the app, open it in Chrome, and then get the embed code there.
