KU badly needs Tech to beat WVU today for the conference race, especially considering what usually happens in Morgantown. WVU doesn't have a lot of obvious possible losses on their schedule. [Reply]

Not going to happen today.
Tech is going to finish 4th or 5th in the league and the beginning of their league play will just have been a flash in the pan. [Reply]
Last game they were tied @3:30 left at home against a bad team. Today against a far inferior team they are losing with 1:30 left and they get the last shot to win.
Someone explain to me how this team is going to do anything positive this year in the tournament? Or win the Big 12? [Reply]

The best chance for his Kansas team to win the Big 12 is that the league will be so strong that 3 or so teams tie for it.
The tournament is a total crapshoot though. You just have to get hot and a favorable draw to make the Final Four.
The 2012 team made the championship game with Conner Teahan as the 6th man, so this team is clearly talented enough to do it. The 2010 team got bounced by those Northern Iowa scrubs, despite having one of the most loaded rosters in Kansas history. [Reply]
