Good pickup. Although some are saying it's a sign that recruiting is back to "normal," and I don't think that's the case. He and Thompson, the most hyped recent recruits, both had major ties to Self or the school. Dick's wanted to play for KU since he was about 10.
I think recruiting in general is still going to be a struggle for awhile. Especially if they get hammered by the NCAA. [Reply]

I completely agree with you. We were "lucky" so to speak to have kids who grew up as Jayhawks in our back yard that were also talented. Most years there are no Top 100 kids from Kansas that grew up KU fans. Even getting Braun and Agbaji from the KC area is huge. This honestly could be alot worse but I don't expect us to be nabbing the Wiggins/Oubres/Embiid/Seldens for a while. [Reply]

This is kind of crazy though in a few years we have the potential at an all area starting line up.
