Nzoner's Game Room>Myles Garrett gets $125 million
Sassy Squatch 12:55 PM 07-14-2020

The #Browns and star pass-rusher Myles Garrett are closing in on a 5-year extension worth $125M, sources say. Another massive deal, this time for $25M in new money per year. Their top priority of this offseason and they are in the final stages. 💰💰💰

Not saying I'd let him babysit my kids. At least not the 2 that I like.

That girl twin, OTOH, could use a little firmer hand...

In either event, the question was ability and Garrett is friggen loaded with it. He reminds me of a better version of Dwight Freeney. He could be in that John Randle, Julius Peppers tier when all is said and done.

The NFL released enhanced on-field audio of the helmet-swinging altercation between Garrett and Rudolph and you can hear Rudolf utter “all lives matter” as he was taken down for the sack.

He should be suspended a year for swinging that helmet at a defenseless player.

Stupid contract by the Browns.

Mayfield is not gonna give them a discount to be able to spend the type of cash they are spending on Garrett, Beckham, Landry, etc.

Browns are spending a bunch of money on securing 3rd place in the division for the next 10 years.

Hmm. Interesting, because it looks to me like they're betting on being 1st in the division in two.

My best friend is a browns fan, so I say this with a certain level of knowledge watching Garrett play.

He’s good, but overrated.

Doesn’t take over games like a player with his ability should.

I can't say I watch a ton of Browns football, but what he did to the Steelers in that weird game they died a couple years back was a damn clinic. They had no idea at all how to handle him.

It was a thoroughly dominant performance to my eyes.

Ah, no disrespect, but the numbers don't bear that out:

Of course, he hasn't really played enough, much less enough big games, to know for certain but his numbers alone say that he's probably a generational type player.

Agreed. He's the real deal.
