Go ahead and dip yourselves in magic waters with this nostalgic piece. I would have had Grbac to Rison against the Raiders on the list myself but hard to argue with many of these:

"Vanover saves the day" came to mind immediately. There used to be a pretty good video of the end of that game on YouTube, but it's no longer there.

Stoyavich beating the Donkeys on a last second field goal would be one of mine.

I also remember Hasty picking up a Neil Smith blocked field goal and returning it for a TD . I can’t remember the specific game.

Cool find. Deron Cherry was my favorite player when I was beginning my Chiefs fanhood in the mid 80s.

I love how loud the roar is in that first ever playoff win in Arrowhead.

Here's a crappy version of it live:

And here's the highlights:

I was at that game with my friend, my uncle and my cousin. My uncle had 4 season tickets in the front-row of club level - in the end zone Vanover scored (and the same end zone Bono threw the TD to Derrick Walker to tie it with almost no time left).

Best game I've ever seen live. After the Vanover TD I remember hugging several total strangers in the row behind us, it was that level of delerium.

My uncle and cousin left to beat the traffic when the Chargers scored and we were down by 7 with 1:20 left or w/e. They had no faith in Bono with a minute left and no timeouts. They had to listen to the finish in the parking lot. Years later I tried to bring it up and they both shot me death glares lol.
