Isn't it great!! I remember when I was a kid back in High School (back in the dark ages) and we were told that "those who go to College" make more money than those who do not.

Fast Forward to today - this young man (Mahomes) at his age is already at the top of the NFL and worth somewhere in the neighborhood of a half a billion dollars. God bless him!

Or, as the comedian once said - "What a country!!" Your parents must be so damned proud!

For me, it’s already an observance. I’m talking bigger. I’m talking decorations, singing traditional Patrick Mahomes songs, day off from work, getting anxiety from being guilted into having annoying relatives over for dinner or an extended stay in your guest room, etc.

What a great gift Mr. and Mrs. Mahomes gave the world 25 years ago in Patrick Lavon Mahomes.

He has delivered us from the hands of the Piolistines, the Haleyites, the Casselites, and the Patriot-lites that once plagued us and we are the chosen franchise.
