I would rather watch the Iowa women's team play in this game. Would be much more fun seeing if Caitlin Clark could get to 10 points over watching the Iowa State men look like a fish on land, flopping around, out of control and worthless.

Don't blame you. I have it on the split screen but the volume is off and I'm on CP. Every once in awhile I look up to see that....they still suck and are boring.

Guessing because they needed a costume mascot (kind of hard to dress up as a tornado) and since “cardinal” is one of their colors, it was born from that.
