There have been some pretty god awful music videos, that at the time seemed cool. But looking back on them now, not so much. Show me what ya got CP.

Great thread. Can't post a vid from my mobile but, if i recall correctly....all those Adam Ant videos were terribly cheesy.

I'll post one when I get back to the computer....unless someone does it first.

This is so pathetically sad its cheesy. You really have to resist the urge to pull the trigger and blow your head off with this one.

Imagine this being played at a funeral.

Think about Chiefs not drafting a Quarterback otf and we are stuck infinity with Alex Smith.

On a happier note this song does make me want to load the chamber and pull the trigger not on myself but on humanity.

So, are we just going to post every video from the '80s? It might be shorter to post videos that aren't cheesy.

1956 King of Rock and Roll was cheesy

Elvis never really wore blue suede shoes except for once on the Steve Allen show and that's what makes this cheesy.

How can you sing about shoes you don't even wear?

When you're better looking than Johnny Cash or Carl Perkins? :-)

For those interested, the song was written by Perkins at Sun Studios. While they were hanging out, Johnny mentioned to Carl that he heard someone say 'don't step on my blue suede shoes' at an army dance party 'you out to write a song about that.' Carl didn't think anything of it, until he heard the same thing at another dance later. He went back and hammered out the song. Elvis did the best rendition [for airplay and TV time] at the time, so Sam Phillips gave it to him.

Oh wow you answered a rhetorical question but I'm impressed didn't think of it that way. I guess you're right?

I didn't think judging by their looks.

My mom would kill me dead if I didn't know something about Sun Studios.

BTW, there's a mini-series just started a month or so ago on the matter
