#Patriots have talked about trading 2019 Defensive player of the year, CB Stephon Gilmore, per @AlbertBreer
They were in contact and had conversations with teams about trading him in August - Could be a trade target again with Pats going through a losing season without Tom Brady pic.twitter.com/I9SIYJexzP

Trading a high draft pick just to add depth to a position of strength is not worth it.
Also Gilmore is a 30 year old CB whose play is already showing signs of decline this season and you want the Chiefs to absorb his $7 million base salary against their already tight salary cap situation in 2021?

If he's planning on getting a QB, he needs to look in the mirror at where the problem lies. Cam has actually been decent, but Belichick yet again refused to draft new offensive playmakers. He usually tries to cut against the grain by zigging where the rest of the NFL zags, but this time that strategy obviously isn't working.

Cleveland might trade one. I believe that they kept 5. I'm not sure if they still have all 5, but if they do, they should be willing to trade one. [Reply]
I just don’t see this team doing anything as far as trades go right now.
Only $6m in cap space and they already have moves to make next offseason in order to get under the 2021 cap, so every dollar counts.
This roster is Super Bowl ready. If a scenario comes up where you can sign someone like they did Suggs or Bell, they will. But I don’t see any trades coming. [Reply]
We have a top 5 pass defense but yet let’s trade for Gilmore who will take up 7 mil in cap when the cap space next year is supposed to decrease. Wanna stunt Sneed and Fentons growth THATS how you do it [Reply]
